Mischa Lokhoff

Tax advisor / lawyer

Background

I completed my Master’s degree in International and European tax law at the University of Amsterdam. During my studies I have studied both Dutch tax law and Dutch civil law. After my studies I started working at a Big Four firm in Amsterdam, followed by a niche tax advisory firm in Amsterdam.

I joined BVDV in September 2020. In 2021 I joined the Netherlands Bar Association and I am also a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers in the Netherlands.

Working method

As Dutch tax law offers a wide variety of options and solutions to certain tax issues, I see it as my task as an advisor to provide the most fitting solution for a specific client. Therefore, a personal approach is very important to me.

Tax issues often overlap with civil law issues. As my knowledge is not limited to Dutch tax law, but also extends to Dutch civil law, I can advise my clients on both civil and tax matters. This allows me to provide the ‘full package’ to my clients.

Expertise

I have great affinity in mergers and acquisitions and the restructuring of companies. I also advise on Dutch tax issues relating to real estate transfer tax, corporate income tax, personal income tax and VAT.
