Hidde Spaan

After finishing my bachelor’s degree at Utrecht University, I obtained my master’s degree in Corporate Law with a specialization in employment law in 2021 and my master’s degree in Civil law with a specialization in Intellectual Property in 2022 at the same University. For my master’s theses I firstly researched the right to work from home in the year 2021 on the basis of the legislative proposal ‘Wet werken waar je wilt’ and secondly the manner of data processing within smart mobility projects viewed from the European understanding of privacy.

During my studies I did an internship at a smaller law firm and became familiar with BVDV. The special philosophy and way of working appealed to me. As of 2022 I am therefore affiliated with BVDV. Starting as a student intern, then a working student and subsequently a legal assistant. I am interested in the field of Company law and specifically the aspects of intellectual property.
